About Us

Urvi Patel is the principal Osteopath at South East Osteopaths and she graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with the Diploma is Osteopathy and Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 and with the Bachelor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She has worked in London, Essex and the South East as an Osteopath since 2005, treating patients from all walks of life from the very young to the very aged. Her approach is very holistic, informative and thorough. She approaches each patient, with a friendly yet professional manner, and is very enthusiastic about catering each treatment and rehabilitation programme to suit each of her patients. Her main interests are low back pain, upper limb pain and ergonomics.

She also has completed a Masters in Health Ergonomics in 2010 from the University of Surrey, which allows her to look at how workstation setup (at work and in the home environment) maybe predisposing to or exacerbating existing musculoskeletal symptoms, especially low back and neck pain, RSI, wrist, hand and forearm pain.

Lauren Jardine is an associate at South East Osteopaths she graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy in 2012. She enjoys treating all patients in a friendly, caring and holistic manner and is particularly interested in breathing mechanics, core stability and how these factors influence the human body. Coming from a background in many types of dance, she is also interested in treating dancers and prescribing rehabilitation programmes to return patients back to exercise.  Alternatively, with a previous career in working with children and young people with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, Lauren also enjoys working with younger patients. With this, she hopes to complete post-graduate education in Paediatric Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy.
